Prerequisites
A Drast account with your company set up
An Attio workspace you can authorize
Step 1 — Connect Attio
In Drast: Settings → Integrations → Attio → Connect.
Complete Attio’s OAuth flow and approve access for the workspace you want to sync.
Note: You may see a warning saying the app hasn't been reviewed by Attio yet. This is expected — type "I accept the risk" to proceed. The integration is safe to connect.
Click on Configure and Test connection if available to confirm the integration works.
How it works
People
If the visitor has an email, Drast asserts (creates or updates) a person in Attio using email as the match key.
If there is no email, Drast creates a new person record with the name and other fields it has (duplicate people are possible without email matching).
Name is sent in the shape Attio expects (structured name with first/last/full where applicable, or string form for single-token names).
Fields written when available include: email, name, job title, LinkedIn URL, and link to company when Drast has linked company data.
Visit note (when scopes allow)
For pushes where the person has an email, Drast can add a note on that person in Attio with website visit context (e.g. visit time, visit count, quality score). If note scope is missing, the push can still succeed but the note step may be skipped.
Companies
When Drast has a domain, it asserts (creates or updates) a company using domain as the match key.
When there is no domain, Drast creates a company record (no domain-based dedupe).
Fields written when available include: name, domain, description, LinkedIn URL.
Associations
When Drast has both a person and company context, it links the person to the company in Attio via the standard company relationship on the person record.
What Drast never does
Drast does not delete people, companies, or other records in Attio when you disconnect or remove a push marker in Drast.
Pushing visitors to Attio
Manually: From Visitors, push a person or company to Attio (same idea as other CRM pushes, select the visitor and use the push action for Attio).
Key contacts: You can push enriched key contacts from a company record to Attio when that flow is enabled for your workspace.
Disconnecting
Settings → Integrations → Attio → Configure → Disconnect
That removes Drast’s OAuth access to Attio for your workspace. Nothing is deleted in Attio, records and notes already created stay there. Visitors marked as pushed in Drast may still show as pushed until you change that in Drast.
Troubleshooting
Push fails or Attio returns an error
Confirm Attio is connected and enabled in Drast.
For people, an email enables matching and updates; without email, behavior is create-only and may duplicate.
For companies, a domain enables dedupe; without it, new company records may duplicate.
If Attio changed scopes, reconnect after updating scopes on build.attio.com.
If access tokens expire and Attio did not issue a refresh token, reconnect Attio.
Notes missing on the person
Ensure your Attio app includes note read/write scope; without it, Drast may skip creating visit notes.
